Okay, so you really have to give up self-esteem when you walk out of the door wearing a banana costume. But it was for the kids. This was me and Elijah (the monkey) this time last year. We went over to Bellevue’s fall festival so our boys could play games and ride the rides. The best part was walking by and hearing “Banana-man!!” at least a hundred times.

Fall is here. Grab a jacket

Fall is definitely an incredible time of year, but it’s sad to see summer go. No more swimming pools. No more beach trips. But. .  football season is here. Bonfires are back. And you’ve got to go to a cornmaze!

On Vacation

We’ll be out on vacation away from the studio until July 27th. We’ll be back soon, refreshed, ready to go, and sun burnt, I’m sure!

Happy Mother’s Day!

I hope all you mom’s had a wonderful Mother’s Day! Our boys loved on Keisha by giving her gifts that they made and a special card.  I woke up early to prepare a nice breakfast for Keisha. Ham and cheese croissant, has browns, monkey bread, fresh blackberries, a tall glass of chocolate milk for Keisha, and Sunny D for me and the boys. Austin and Phillip didn’t hesitate to mention that the breakfast was a gift from THEM with a LITTLE help from Dad. (Even though they were sound asleep until I called them down to eat!)

Just as soon as breakfast is over, we had to rush around to finish getting ready for the day. Then we had a pleasant Sunday morning with our church family. It was a beautiful service reminding husbands of our responsibility of loving on and caring for our wife. When the last “amen” was said, we were out the door and off to one of our favorite places to eat. If you haven’t been to “Asian Grill” in SaddleCreek, you need to go there. The food is tremendous and so is the staff.

I think the highlight of Keisha’s Mother’s Day might have been the afternoon nap. Elijah took the longest afternoon nap he has in a LONG time, and therefore, so did she.  

Babytime Open House

Thank you for everyone that came and visited us at the Babytime Open House! The kids were entertained with their sweet little puppy, Harvey, while dads spent most of their time over in the lounge chair/ rocking chair area! This gave moms a chance to check out Babytime’s new clothing and shoe line, and also get some of that yummy cake they served!

We did another drawing while we were there. The winner of the portrait session is Gina Walton of Memphis. We look forward to seeing you in the studio soon.
